What we did:

After a two salon test exposed the power of a direct marketing campaign to target New, Lost and Underperforming Guests, we knew we had a winning model and now work with over 200 franchise owners. A loyalty model was added that replaces the old fashioned punch cards and the majority of owners now embrace this loyalty tactic.

What we learned:

We had to build a franchise model because in the franchise world, the marketing dollars we target are at the owner level. We also learned that the owners want to be able to determine how much they spend and create their own oers so we built a model that is granular at the owner level.

We have also learned that it is imperative to stay with or ahead of technology and are launching a new loyalty model that includes e-mail, mobile, surveys (for feedback) and segmentation supported by in-depth reporting capabilities.
